Schmeckenbecher H65 Chiming (Bim-Bam) Pendulum Wall Clock circa late 20th. c.
This is a nice "modern" wag-on-the-wall weight powered clock with a Bim-Bam style chime on the hour an half-hour. The clock was made in Germany by schmeckenbecher, perhaps shortly after the German reunification of 1990. I could find no date on the clock. It appears to be like examples of the model No.7345 found elsewhere on-line. schmeckenbecher is a well known maker of Cuckoo clocks and the movement in this clock reflects that heritage. H65 may indicate the pendulum length. The clock has a pleasant sound and was here for routine cleaning and lubrication. (Picture shows the clock on a wooden test post.)
