This is a nice large old 8-day Junghans Westminster chime clock. It has fast-slow,
and silent-chime controls on the front dial. I believe the clock was made circa
1910. Junghans made made several similar style cases and appeared to have used a
couple of different style chime movements. The movement is well made and has the
Junghans stamp. It is a rather complicated movement with quite a few parts as can
be seen, but is a good runner and presented no unusual issues during service. The
gear reduction spring wind makes this an easy clock to wind. I have been unable to
identify a model number or name for this clock.
Not for sale - returned to the owner after
service.
