This is the popular "mystery clock" from 1955. The hands appear suspended
is space with no visible power source. The clock has a small electric motor in the
base that slowly turns the class disk which rotates the minute hand. The hour hand
is driven by a simple gear train that's help in one position with a little
counter weight.
Clock shows a little wear in the "gold" finish but is generally nice
looking. Motor has been checked and is running and keeping time. The cord has just
been replaced.
