Seth Thomas Eclipse ball-top parlor clock w/alarm c. 1890
This is a nice Seth Thomas 8-day walnut parlor clock with a lyre movement. Commonly called "ball top", I believe this model is the Eclipse, which is also on the pendulum. Seth Thomas apparently made these with several variations in the side trim on the door. I believe these date from about 1890. The clock looks to be all original and ran well after an overhaul. The movement originally had a "stop work" (Geneva stop) on each winding arbor but the upper half has gone missing missing.
