Viking ship's bells clock by Iver C. Weilbach & Co., Copenhagen,
1968.
Clock was acquired at a local estate auction. Chrome bulkhead mount case is about
5¾ in diameter. Beveled glass door is 4 inches in diameter. Strikes
"ship's watch bells" every 30 minutes. Has a lever on the face to
silence the bells. Large brass bell, nearly as large as the case (see last
picture). Has a spring driven movement. Comes with a new brass winding key, which
is not original to this clock. The works has a date stamp of 3/68.
Clock movement seems to be fairly clean and is running well and striking properly.
Clock has a back cover plate which is not shown in the pictures. Slight cosmetic
damage on the face (see pictures), otherwise a great looking clock.
