This is nice little wind-up time and strike shelf clock with a "modern"
look was acquired at a local estate auction. Has a Seth Thomas 120L brass pendulum
regulated movement with the number 37-1 stamped on the front plate. Strikes the
hour and the half on a gong. Door has the original instructions label. Model label
on the bottom indicates that this is a Seth Thomas 4 W Console. The number 6379 is
burned into the bottom.
The bezel has been refinished and there is some varnish crazing with a little
varnish flaked off of a small spot on the top. The veneer is nice as are the feet
and hands. The dial has a few scratches. This clock is running and striking
properly and appears to have very little mechanical wear.
SOLD on eBay® $30.00 (I was very disappointed)
