Schatz 400-Day "Anniversary Clock", circa 1954.
This is a 400-day torsion pendulum time piece. The brass movement is stamped 3
54, which I take to be March 1954. Acquired from a local estate auction on
July 14, 2008. The clock was completely disassembled and cleaned and now seems to
be running fine and keeping time. Nothing else is known about this clock. It's
an interesting clock to watch and I guess every collection should have at least
one, so now I have mine!
