Reproduction E. Ingraham Monterey "Mission Clock",
2008
This is a full size reproduction of an E. Ingraham Montery "mission
clock" originally produced circa 1915. The case is mostly Red Oak. The spring
powered time & strike movement was assembled from a variety of parts salvaged
from several "junk box" Ingraham mantel clock movements. I made this
clock because I didn't have a hanging mission clock, and I wanted to find a use
for some extra parts that were just laying around. I was not able to determine for
sure what color the original Monterey was; it may have been offered in several
variations, including natural wood like this one.
