Miniature Reproduction E. Ingraham Montery Mission Clock, 2008
This is a new scaled down reproduction of an early 1900s E. Ingraham Montery
"mission clock". Much smaller than the original, this little timepiece is
just 6 inches wide and 12 inches tall. It has a moving pendulum quartz movement.
The face is oak plywood and the other visible parts are solid red oak. I made this
clock to be placed in a small window by the entrance to my shop. It gets really
cold there in the winter and really hot in the summer, and I wanted a clock that
would keep good time, and one that I didn't have to wind. It has the look of an
old windup clock and is a conversation piece. When people cone to the door this
clock greets them and let's them know they have found the clock shop!
