Warren Telechron 6B11 electric clock, circa 1930-40
This is a vintage (circa 1930-1940 I believe) Telechron model 6B11 electric clock
made by Warren Telechron Co. It has a passing bell strike on the hour and half-hour
(strikes one time on the hour and one time on the half - these do not strike
multiple times to count the hour). The clock has a sweep seconds hand,
strike/silent control, bakelite case, and power failure indicator. The cord is old
and a little stiff but I can see no broken insulation or bare wires. Obtained from
an estate auction Feb. 16, 2009. I checked it when I got it home and it seems to
run fine. No motor noise and the bell strike is crisp and bright. There are a few
scuffs as can be seen in the pictures. I didn't open the case.
SOLD on eBay® $20.50
